    USA Climbing’s Collegiate Series is composed of 7 Divisions.

    Refer to the USA Climbing Rulebook for rules related to Division assignment and event participation.

    April 6/7, 2024 | April 13/14, 2024 | April 20/21, 2024

    All QE participants will be eligible in both boulder and lead disciplines at a CNQE.

    Proof of Enrollment

    All Collegiate Competitors must provide Proof of Enrollment. The document must include: First Name, Last Name, College/University and Academic Term/Year.

    Any of the following documents are accepted (view samples):

    • Your class schedule.
    • A form from the Office of the Registrar.
    • A letter from your Rec Sports Department including all competitors first and last name and verifying each competitor meets the eligibility requirements outlined in the USA Climbing Rulebook for Collegiate participation.
    • Verification from the National Student Clearinghouse (fee associated with each verification).

    Submission of Proof of Enrollment
    Proof of enrollment is uploaded in the Documents tab of your USA Climbing Account.

    1. Log in to your USA Climbing Account
    2. View your profile
    3. Click on the “Documents” tab on the left-hand side
    4. Click “Add Document”
    5. Select “Proof of Enrollment”
    6. Upload proof of enrollment for the 2023/2024 season


    Collegiate Scholarships

    USA Climbing is offering two scholarship opportunities to our Collegiate Members:

    1. Climbing Ambassador Scholarships
    2. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Scholarships

    USA Climbing will be awarding $3,000 in scholarships: first place $1,000 and second place $500 for each scholarship.

    Look out for the 2025 Collegiate Scholarship Applications shortly after the 2024-25 Collegiate season starts.

      • Can I compete outside of my Division?

        Collegiate competitors can compete in QEs in any collegiate division.

      • Where is Proof of Enrollment uploaded?

        Proof of enrollment is uploaded in the Documents tab of your USA Climbing Account.

      • Can I compete at Collegiate Nationals with a Collegiate Recreational Membership?

        No, a competitor must have a Collegiate Membership in order to be able to compete at Collegiate Nationals. If a competitor wants to be eligible for Collegiate Nationals, they must upgrade their Collegiate Recreational Membership to a Collegiate Membership prior to Nationals Qualification Event.

      • What is the difference between the Collegiate Recreational membership and the Collegiate membership?

        The Collegiate Recreational membership allows participation at Qualification Events only. A competitor must upgrade to the Collegiate membership prior to Nationals Qualification Event.
